          In our process, we do not allow idea submission unless they are aligned with our strategic objectives. Therefore, we make a point of communicating our strategic objectives to all interested parties that participate in our open innovation platform.

          Also, with training and understanding, submitted ideas should continually improve. We use a measurement that "learns" what is normal and what is not for the percentage of ideas that have transitioned to projects for exploration. Right now, about 35.84% of all ideas are worthy of initial funding for research.
