Who is IAOIP?

Where do I post a measure?

Select "Post A Measure" in the menu bar.  Complete the form and click on "Publish" to post your measure to the challenge.

What happens next?

Your measure will be posted to the "Comment & Vote on Measures" page for the community to read, share, comment and vote.

How do I post comments?

Read measures by clicking on "Comment & Vote on Measures" on the navigation bar. Add to the discussion by commenting on individual measures. The goal of commenting is to help improve the innovation measures. Please be candid, courteous and respectful in your comments.

How do I share my measure?

Invite your friends and colleagues to join the conversation on your measure by clicking "Share." Open your idea in "Comment & Vote on Measures," click on the "Share" button, input your friends' names and a message, and email the message. 

How do I sort the measures?

On the "Comment & Vote on Measures" page, use the "Search Ideas" box or click "Advanced Search." You may also sort the challenge measures by "Type of Innovation", "Modified Date," "Post Date" and "Number of Votes" using the pull-down menu just below the "Search" box.

Vote & Review

How do I vote?

Vote on measures you like best to help them elevate through the stages. Click on "Comment & Vote on Measures" from within a challenge page. You can vote on measures on View Ideas page, or after clicking on the measure title. Just click the thumbs-up button to support the idea.

What is Expert Review?

After your measure gets crowd support and graduates to the next stage. The Measures will be reviewed & evaluated by a team against the following criteria:

1. Relevance - addresses the Challenge Question​
2. Alignment - aligns to a Type of Innovation
3. Method – offers a proven and practical method to measure innovation
4. Value – offers in-depth insights to stimulate further innovation
5. Applicability – can be applied to multiple organizations and industries
6. Quality – is written clearly and logically

How are top measures selected?

Winning measures are selected based on votes and comments from the community, as well as reviews by IAOIP Expert Team.

My measure was selected as top innovation measures - what happens now?

Congratulations! If your measures are selected as the top innovation measures they will be used for the development of the IAOIP measurement certification, and then shared with ISO in an attempt to make them a part of standards included in ISO 50500/TC 279.
